WALB SCHEDULE 


Monday Practice at the Post, upstairs small room, 7:15 p.m., March - December. 2026 Practices will officially begin on Monday, March 2.


Open to everyone: non-members, listeners, new musicians.


There will be food and drink at all parades. The band will provide if the parade doesn’t.

Monday March 9, 7:00 pm; Annual Meeting

pizza and salad provided

The first hour will be the Annual Meeting, followed by an hour of practice.


Sunday, April 12, 1:00 Stepoff, Marching

Abington St. Patrick’s Day Parade


Van will leave Post at 11:00 a.m.

Park at the end of the parade route either at 10 Railroad St. Or North School.  There is a shuttle that runs back and forth starting at 11 AM


Saturday, April 18, 2:00 stepoff

Lexington parade,Trolley

Trolley leaves Post at 12:45; no van


Sunday, April 26, 1:00 stepoff: Greek Independence Day parade

Trolley will leave Post at 11:30. No van.

Parade runs down Boylston Street, from Copley Square to Charles Street


Sunday, May 17, 1:00 stepoff: Wellesley parade, MARCHING

Van or trolley will leave Post at 11:45.

Note: We are trying to get enough marchers. There is a chance this will be a TROLLEY parade.

Parade begins on Washington Street, just past Route 9 intersection. It ends at the Crest Road Bridge. Trilby parking lot on Linden Street is at the end of the parade.


Monday, May 25, Memorial Day at Waltham Commons

Ceremony; Ceremony begins at 9:30. Please arrive by 9:00

Lunch will be provided by the Post for those who play at the Waltham Commons Ceremony


Monday, May 25 12:00 stepoff: Watertown Memorial Day parade, MARCHING

The parade runs from the Watertown Library to Victory Field. Parking available in municipal lots near beginning and residential streets at the end of the route. 


Thursday, June 4, TBA (evening): Waltham Public Library on front lawn


Friday, June 12, 7:00: Indoor concert in Newton
